What I've been hearing lately is: The American economy is attributable to the consumer alone.
That appears to be what Bush was doing by the TAX refund.
Money in the hands of the people get's spent.
Over spent. The average family holds $11,000 to $19,000 in credit card debt from what I've heard lately,
and our government is doing the same. Spending has never exceeded income in our past history like it is with Bush.
Now I hear of a man on the Moon project from Bush, we've been there & done that.
I hope Bush is paying for it out of his own pocket.
Also, a man on Mars is the talk, which is rediculas & extreemly expensive also.
They are looking for a long term goal for NASA to give it direction.
NASA is a tool, if you arn't using the tool you put it down.
You don't look around for a reason to use the tool.
Polititions should not make decisions for NASA, in the past when they've done that, the shuttle blew up.
Scientists should make the decisions about the space missions, not polititions,
and scientists have plenty of requests & experiments to do.
It's just government doesn't listen because it's not a big political booster to learn how bugs have sex in space,
or how to make huge spun glass lenses using the zero gravity of space.
Or other tech advancements.

They already make a decision, oh, sorry not they, but Bush. Bush says "we should give money to xxx", where xxx is a big project and everybody says "wow! it's cool!" it's really fun to look at this party... if my mind doesn't lie me, there are two huge projects in USA to give money for, ... just for 3 last month. First - new generation of cars h2o, second - new NASA project. But why dollar is in process on falling? And what should be happen with USA in case of 1,5$=1euro? Maybe it's time to think about nation economic not for tomorrow but for today.

Ok, lets look at simple situation 1$=1,5Euro (it's possibly, very possibly). When the dollar is weak, exporting to the US becomes less profitable.

The market LOOKS good now, but give it 2.5 months. I predict by the end of March you'll see an obvious "turnaround".

They should invest more in education instead.

The oil will rise in price, cause counties which export oil will not sell it for same price. This is the way for rise in price for everything connected with oil use. I think it gonna affect very big part of market. Can it strike on national economic?

Possibly as early as this summer.
