Hey all,

Well my old car finally died and of course it waited till winter....:\

So I ended up trading my last 2 firearms for a 2004 crown victoria P71 and love the car, runs and drives like a new car but have a minor issue.

When I lock the doors via the power lock switch, all doors lock except for the drivers rear ?

They removed the lock pulls in the rear doors as this was a police car so that's not an option right now till I can fine a warm garage to pull the door panel and see if I can attach new lock pull rods.

Any ideas ?

Don't worry about locking it. Everyone and their brother has a motorpool key for a crown vic. I parked in trenton for a couple years with an unlocked CVPI. Nobody willingly gets into the back seat.

Well being in the hood where I have had 2 stolen and a couple vandalized and the big one is they removed the cover from the steering column and I think I have to remove the damn wheel to get it back on..:\

I will probably just bust out the dremmel and cut a slot on the ignition part of the cover and slip it on that way ?

Edit: also realized the window does not work on the same door that does not lock so guessing the wiring was cut bu accident or broken, will check that today when it warms up.
