Whats your point? There's a market for everything and an idiot/sucker born every minute. Anything can be sold if it's marketed correctly and to the right croud. Doesn't take away from the fact GM has it's head up it's ass and couldn't design a good looking car now adays to save it's life.

No one is saying they wouldn't have problems moving them. They are saying it's downright ugly and slow. Great combination.
That is GMs primary mission - to make money.

They probably don't really care if you and I like their designs.

I had a 1951 Chevrolet Pickup, and I really liked the exterior styling. I updated it by putting a 1984 Chevrolet truck front clip on it. Then I added a 1979 Z28 Camaro engine, transmission, and rear end. I painted it but didn't lower the suspension or anthing like that. I was excited when I first heard about the SSR, but when I actually saw one I was dissapointed. What I really thought they should have done is make a retro styled full size truck. Simular styling as the 1947-53, not a covertable though. I would have bought one if I could actually haul things with it and treated it like a normal truck. The vehicle they designed would be totally useless to me.

My feelings exactly.

I have a soft spot for the early '50s Chey PUs. Learned to drive in one and spent a lot of time in one as a kid, I was hoping this would be a useful PICKUP. I am disappointed, not in the look but the utility, or lack thereoff.
