Yeah, but your shoes don't come with that kind of standard equipment. This is probably one of the worst cars that GM will have come out with but I still think it will sell to low-budget new car buyers because of all the "standard" equipment.

I think the hatchback version looks decent.

Chevy is marketing that car like crazy over here. Its aimed at the youths & college students mainly.

Guess its trying to make over the Cavalier's image of being the college student's car of choice.

Right. The Cavalier is going away. Even though it's being replaced by the Cobalt, This is GM's attempt to compete with Hyundai in the Asian (and new-buyer) market.

GM should had used the money to buy Daewoo to design a car to replace the current Cavalier that can compete with the Civic and Corolla. Yeah, I know the Cavalier is being replaced, but it took GM a dozen years. Or GM could had put money to prop up the Saturn brand, which badly needs new models.

27/35? There are better cars that get better mileage. My roommate's Corolla gets 35 highway and it's like 8 years old.

No kidding. Consider size, price, and power when comparing the Aveo to your roommate's Corolla when it was brand new.
