I went, it was pretty good....don't go to the server symposium tho, cuz they just repeat it later in the tech tour

No they don't... the Server Symposium was more in-depth... they just brushed on the Server side for the TechTour kids...

did a bunch of kiddies go to these things, or was it more adults? i'm actually in the industry and i want to talk to the vendors and amd. I don't want to go if it's all AOL kiddies trying to score free crap.

but on the other hand...was there free stuff being given away? if so, what?

Haha, Yea the free stuff is enticing. Im really doing a lot of market research on computer stuff. Signed up a month ago for Houston. Anyone else going?

Went to Houston, It was maginificent! The guys were really knowledgable, I wished there were some more vendors, but eh... I got 2 optical mouses and 3 tee's. Also a lot of literature which Im gonna love. Got SP2 RC1, but I doubt ima try to use that thing. Ive never wanted an Athlon 64 more...but Im still gawking at the prices.

Just got back also, your right the folks were very knowedgeable, but i got a little bored. Maybe its because i was there as an enthusiast and not for business. Guess i should of expected that though.
