ehhh.... looks just like another accord... no biggie imho, but then again, "that's just my opinion, i could be wrong." 🙂

the TSX IS an accord. It's the european honda accord fitted with nicer parts. and that's really it~

True ... but the JDM Accord is supposed to compete more with BMW's then with the Camry's ...
It comes with VSA and all the works ... and it's very different from the American accord ... except for the interior ... though i really love the new Accord's interior.
Don't forget 200hp and 6spd manual for ~35000$ CAN..

Justin

For that money, I'd rather get a decked out Mazda6s.

From the article:
(Imagine this body with front-engine and rear-wheel drive. If Mazda can bring back the British sports car with the Miata, isn?t it time somebody brought back the Italian sports sedan with Honda reliability? Just a thought.)
How I long for a quality mid-sized sport sedan with RWD or AWD...

That's exactly how I understand it, too. Acura needed a car the size of the Accord in their lineup, so this new vehicle fits the bill. I guess I find it kind of ironic that Acura has taken so many years to replace the Vigor.

Umm, the Vigor was replaced by the TL 2.5 and TL 3.2. Acura dropped the TL 2.5 when they went to the current body style.

Ooops ... me bad. Actually, I'm glad that Acura canned that 5-cylinder Vigor.

I like how it's not available with the V6. What is Honda smoking??

Giving it a V6 would make it compete against the Accord V6 and 3.2 TL. That's a no-no in the automotive biz

But with a manual and a V6, it would compete with the G35 sedan, at least for Honda fanboys. It looks great btw. Best looking non European sedan I have ever seen.

Boy, those are strong words. To me it looks completely bland (though admittedly handsomer than the ugly new Accord).

I never understood why Japs think it's ok to crank out decent hps out of smaller engines at high RPMs. While I'm sure this has to do with the issue of displacement, or lack thereof if you were comparing the typical 1.2li or 2.4li Jap engine to say a 4.0li American one, why engineer engines that will output peak performance at borderlining RPMs? I have yet to see a 4.0li American engine rated at peak performance beyond 4500 rpm.
