2003 Nissan Murano SUV

Weird looking Lexus-wannabe. What is this VQ35 engine we're talking about? The engine in the Maxima/I35? Hopefully it's not as lame as that supercharged 210hp engine.

You haven't heard of the VQ engine?

Anyway, yep the VQ35DE is the same engine on:

Maxima
Altima (2k2)
I35
Z (2k3) - both in stock and turbo form
Pathfinder
QX4
G35

I'm not familiar with Nissans. You start mentioning Sylvias, Skylines, SR24DTs (that's probably not even right) and I get confused :|

At least it has a good engine in it. Not too crazy on the styling though

Nice lookin' ride (for an SUV 😀 )

Nissan appears to have some good things going for it right now. Nice looking, reliable, powerful cars for a good price. They may be kicking Honda's butt here soon.
I can't wait to test-drive that new 350Z. It just might be my next car.

The VQ engine is only the best V6 in US (Wards autoworld 10 best) for 8 years running, longer than any other motor. Of course you wouldn't know that

That's a joke, right? Nissan doesn't have a single car out right now that appeals to the avg. 17 year old "i'm all hard" teenager that drives Civics and Integras.

Really like the car overall, but I don't know about that nose........just don't like it. But hey, go Nissan. 🙂

Uhh... the new Sentra Spec-V, the new V6 Altima, and (don't forget) the new 350Z coming out late this summer? Obviously it won't be an overnight sensation, but Nissan is making quite the comeback right now.
BTW, while I'm 30 (and not 17), I do own an Integra GSR.

<< it's like a caoncept car in production >>

Dang...I wish American companies would build more of their production cars too...specifically, the Solstice 😀rool;

Other than the slightly strange snout I think it looks really nice. It's hard to tell how large it is, and I sould be curious as to a list price.

I am pleased with Nissan's recent renaissance, even if my Nissan (2001 Max SE) slightly predated it. I could cheerfully own any of several new Nissan models, and a garage with a Z and a Murano inside would be a happy home indeed.
