i'll take an STI plz. don't really like the looks of the EVO, looks like a riced up/souped up Lancer.

Because the STI looks nothing like a riced up/souped up Impreza right? 😛

So, you ask why forced induction rocks? You're not questioning any ol' turbo engine here... you're questioning the 4G63T... one of the strongest, most powerful and robust 4 cylinder turbo engines ever made. If you had a turbo it's supremely easy to mod it for more power. For $20 you can turn up the boost on an EVO and make your 300hp+ SAFELY. Heck, a few hundred in parts upgrade can get you well past 273awhp which with 20% drivetrain loss = 341 crank hp, a few hundred more and you're up to 298.4whp.

I'm not questioning that it does "rock" as you say, but just b/c it has a turbo doesn't make it special.

The Supra everyone treasures now would be nothing without the twin turbos strapped to the motor. Having a RWD fast as hell turbo-ed car was/is what the Supra was/is all about. Bringing it back N/A is denying it's roots. Is that necessarily a bad thing? No - the 350z n/a is extremely popular - don't know a single person who doesn't want one - probably more so than the old TT 300zx's. Only time will tell how the public reacts to the Supra when it's finally released

I guess Im in the extreme minority but I like the exterior of the Evol better than the STI...
