How could they give first place to the Endeavor? It should be last for being so freaking ooooogly.

Yeah, that REALLY surprised me. You wouldn't catch me in that hideous thing. People can call the Highlander bland all they want, but that Mitsu is downright FUGLY!

Strange how they mention squeaks and rattles on the Highlander...our Highlander Limited has 12,000 miles and has been tomb silent.

The Mitsu wins, there are rattles on the Toyota and the Nissan's interior is described as "chock full of high-grade materials"?!?

That's it, they obviously conducted this test in an alternate dimension. :p

ROTFLMAO! :D I was trying to nudge my dad into looking at the Murano, but he isn't "hip" to its exterior. He's 53 and the design just doesn't do it for him. He likes something a little more "middle of the road"

Don't worry, you'd be too busy staring at the ugliness of the center console next to it to notice it.

I dont understand Cross-Over Midsize SUV's...they all look like regular midsize SUV's to me especially the highlander and pilot. Saying that, I would take a Durango all over them, more room, more power, nice looks.

(1) Most SUV don't go off-road
(2) Car based sport-utes are lighter than truck based utes like the Duragno
(3) They're similar in size/space utilization
(4) Take a look at the gas mileage of a Highlander/Pilot vs a V8 Durango and you'll see why they're so popular

I've test driven all 4, and liked the Highlander best. I decided to go for the 4Runner instead though, seems more my style.

Of course going from a pony car (Firebird) to an SUV (4Runner) is quite a change.

You have a point, NFS4. My wife says her next car will be a Buick Rendevous (why I don't know, it has a pitiful little engine) which is a cross-over.

Ah I see..those cars should are based on a car platform right? I have nothing agaisnt them, but i prefer something based on a truck platform even though they love to suck down gas.

Yeah, my dad loves his Highlander Limited. Plenty of power, avgs about 22-23 MPG and it is extremely quiet and smooth.
