I can't believe Caddillac hasthe audacity to put this type of dash in a 60K+ plus luxury car

I think Caddy won cause it was $17k cheaper than the competitor (LX470). That is a pretty hefty price difference, and i know the upgrade to the Lexus interior isn't worth $17k to most buyers.

I've rented U-Hauls with better interiors than the caddy. That dash looks like it belongs on a car from the 70's.
No wonder the profit margins on these trucks are so high.

well, for the difference in price you can get the escalade and the $17,000 silverado for when you need to haul dirt for the garden

Yep, I think it's called the Escalade ESV.

I am not too hot on that aluminium colored piece that detracts from the wood and leather motif, but it's leaps and bounds above the caddy.

These are soccermom-mobiles...not heavy-duty haulers like pickups. In this class, it's all about smooth, quiet operation and the 4.7 does it in spades
