Honda will tell you it designed the Element with the ?young, active buyer? in mind and has slathered the trucklet in thick layers of marketing hoo-hah, all aimed at appealing to the male teen-to-20-something surfing and snowboarding set, or those ?experiencing life? in the ?endless summer? between school and their first job.

23-year old surfer.

Hmmm...looks like the FrankenTruck :)

Doors look like they're from an old toyota truck, wheel wells look like they came from a VW New Beetle, tailgate looks like it came from an Aztec/Rendevous. The plastic panels ruin the whole truck. It looks like one of those cars you see driving around that's three different colors because it was in an accident and someone didn't spend the money to repaint it all.

If they eliminate the pastic or paint over it, it might actually look decent. Otherwise, it just makes the whole car look cheap. That's my biggest gripe about my mom's Impala, the car looks sharp, but that cheap plastic trim on the sides ruins the whole car. They paint over it in the (cheaper) malibu, but leave it bare on the impala...

You can say that again. Honda is at an all time low style wise, IMO.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What an ugly POS!

It looks like a delivery van for midgits. It's just like Toyota's Scion Bbx, except with lots of ungraceful plastic cladding to make it even more ugly!

The interior is pretty sh|tty too. I don't see anything on the inside that is not obviously cheap, ugly plastic. Then again, it's a Honda product.

For once I agree with you. I think the Bbx is the better looking of the two, but that ain't saying much...

Name me ONE GM product in the same price range as a Honda that has a better interior than a Honda...can't name one can you?? Didn't think so :D

NFS4,

... and you rip GM for having an abundance of ugly plastic cladding on the outside of their vehicles?

That is all. :p

LOL, looks like Honda designers have been hanging out with designers of Pontiac Aztek for way too long.

When GM and American Honda meet.....

This thing sucks. I'm at a loss for words. Actually, I take that back. I can think of something:

Hummmer H2 meets the Asstek on a CRV chassis with an Avalanche body kit.
