2003 Honda Accord owners?

I'm considering a 2003 Honda Accord LX V6 with leather and automatic transmission.

How much did other Honda Accord owners pay for their model type and have you been pleased with the performance of your car?

I have 2003 Accord coupe, non v6. paid 18k for it, including a few accessories
The local dealers around here have dropped the accord non v6 to around 14,400

The car is great, very smooth ride and fine acceleration. The only thing that I'm disappointed with is that the cd player doesn't read cdr's. Besides that, I'm very happy with the purchase

Weird, I have the 2002 Accord EX, which includes the 6-disc in-dash changer. Not only does it read CD-Rs, but it does a decent job with fresh CD-RWs as well (however, CD-RWs that have been erased and burned more than 10x take a bit longer to spin up.)

Wow, no CD-R support? That's odd that it wouldn't. What brands have you tried in it?

I'm kind of looking at a 2003 as one of my next cars....stilld eciding though

don't you mean MP3?
any CD player should be able to play CD-R's... my 88 LeBaron's CD player could play burned CD's...

No that's exactly what I mean. the 2003 accord's in dash cd player only plays retail cd's. It says so in the manual and the salesperson said so. He said its some anti-piracy thing

That sucks. Isn't it a ironic they offer an mp3 option though?

I didnt know the the LX V6 came in leather?

I think it's the second most stolen car in the US. Your insurance might be high.

It comes in leather, but no sunroof or manual =(
