Compared to the new 7 and the spy pics of the 5 and 6, the Z4 looks GREAT!

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Still, those headlights need some rethinking. The rear end is gorgeous though. The interior is nice. If I designed cars (which I very well may end up doing), I would design interiors like that. Clean and simple lines, but not austere.
That flame thing on the side needs to go.. I wonder if you could get it pounded out by a body shop....

The rear end is the worst!! It looks to blocky and chunky like a cross between a Honda S2000 and a Ferrari 575M. Heck, the whole car needs some rethinking. The M-Roadster is a much better design IMHO.

Not the fastest thing on the road but I wouldn't fail to accept one if it was given to me ;)

Me either, but I'd then sell it and get a Boxster (the new 227 HP base model), S2000, or M-Roadster :D

I hope you'd take the porsche or the BMW over a "Honda" :Q I'd take the boxter!

I'd take the S2000 over the Z3/Z4, I'd take an M-Roadster over an S2000, but a Boxster/Boxster S over them all.

The S2000 rapes a Z3/Z4 on the track and it looks better too IMHO. If Honda gives the S2000 a semi-automatic transmission, that'd be even better.

Also, just b/c the S2000 has a Honda badge on it doesn't make it crap. I'm sick and tired of people using the BMW badge as a way to say that everything else in it's respective class is subpar

The 5-Series is the only BMW that really has no equal IMHO in it's class
The 3-Series is second to the Audi A4 Quattro in my books (and the M3 will no doubt be raped by the V8 S4 coming)
The 7-Series is third to the Audi A8 and S-Class in my books
The X5 isn't even an SUV. Give me a Touareg with the V10 diesel

Well in terms of quality or performance I wouldn't say that the Honda badge makes the car inferior, but the thing is the Honda name is not associated with classy performance vehicles. It's associated with family cars and reliable cars to get you from point a to b, so even if it's better than the BMW you still have to know to yourself that instead of driving a BMW you're driving a Honda, a name associated more with family sedans than performance-oriented luxury cars.

But I buy a vehicle for MY pleasures...not for someone else's insecurities. And what about the NSX?

I like the new 7 series....i just like the previous model better. I also like the new Z4 now too....but where is the front bumper? The grill sticks out further than a bumper would.

I would buy in part cause I know other people would be jealous. Call it insecure, or call it my idea of what a nice car is all about!

And the NSX is overpriced for its sad amount of power. Come on, you know that :)

The NSX is way-way-way overpriced. I don't really like the looks and would never buy one when you can have the $50k z06 that will beat it in every statistic. Btw, I haven't seen the new NSX, so if you have pics.. link =)

NSXFor a mere $90k you too can have a 290 Horsepower two seater! Alternatively you can drop $35k on a 287 HP nissan 350Z that performs nearly as well, and on those days when your wife needs it or it's in the shop you can take the $55k you saved to buy a brand new corvette!

N/M then....I thought the NSX had more HP. I thought they made a turbo version that costs that much or something. Good lord that is darn diddly overpriced!! UGH!

While I would agree that the NSX is over-priced, it's an exotic that I wouldn't mind living with on a daily basis.

Gorgeous cars, a decade later they STILL turn my head.
