You live in Davis and drove all the way to sears point?

How far of a drive is that anyway? If I lived in that area I'd probably do the same.

Davis to Sac Raceway is about.... 20 minutes to half a hour.
Davis to Sears Point is about an hour and a half.

That's not so far. My "local" track is a good hour away; when there's no traffic.

I'm just saying... why go to Sears Point instead of Sac Raceway?

I dont live in CA so excuse my lack of knowledge, but Kevin's slip says "Sacramento Raceway Park"

Ok, I'm dumb, I should have read the timeslip.

But, if you were at Sac Raceway, where was this pic taken, then?

That's what was confusing me.

Oh yeah, that was taken out in the hills somewhere near Walnut Creek.

Better track? Technically there's a track closer to me but it sucks so I'd rather drive the extra 20-30 miles and use the better one.

Yup I have one, it's rated at 240 HP and 212 lb-ft of torque. I actually just ran it at the track on Wednesday... I managed a 15.0, completely stock, including tires.

Wow. That's not that quick. I hope you were powerbraking. I know the 6-speed guys are managing mid-low 14's.

I think 15 flat is pretty good for an auto that's stock down to the filter box and no brake stalling. If he did a ghetto airbox mod and powerbraked, he'd probably be sitting mid 14s.

Is there any altitude on this track or is it pretty close to sealevel?

On an automatic car you use the brake to hold down the car while at the same time giving it some gas to bring the revs up. When you want to go, you left off the brake and floor the gas.
