Anyone who has the model, how much of horse power does it have? Some say it has 240, but some say it has 200. Which one is correct?

6th Gen V6 = 200
7th Gen V6 (2003-2004) = 240

KEV1N does have one. I have the I4 in both of my 04 sedans. The I4 has great power for a 4 but the 6 is amazing. Although if I wanted something decently fast I'd just buy a sports car and not a wannabe sports coupe.

Yup I have one, it's rated at 240 HP and 212 lb-ft of torque. I actually just ran it at the track on Wednesday... I managed a 15.0, completely stock, including tires.

Wow. That's not that quick. I hope you were powerbraking. I know the 6-speed guys are managing mid-low 14's.

Yeah, I couldn't break into 14s. I didn't brake torque. Yes I've seen 6-speeds do as fast as 14.2 but unfortunately there's only so much you can do with the auto.

Ohhh that's an auto. That's not bad for an auto I don't think.

You should. You could easily break 14 if you did IMHO.

A lot of people would consider 212 lb/ft on a 240 hp car to be "not much" -- mostly people that like "old school" cars and power.

I'll try it next time, but I wont' be going back soon. I went with my buddy who has the AEM V2 intake and he was averaging 15.3. I've accepted the fact that the Accord is more of a comfortable cruiser and not really a 1/4 mile beast.

As far as upgrades.. I only have the Comptech rear sway bar and XM commander mounted in the ashtray. I think I will do more stereo next.

Woohoo audio!!!

Within first 2 months I got my 02 Accord SE, I took it up to Clear Lake on CA-29. Realized very quickly that racing machine it is not, my 96 handled better.

You live in Davis and drove all the way to sears point?

How far of a drive is that anyway? If I lived in that area I'd probably do the same.

Davis to Sac Raceway is about.... 20 minutes to half a hour.
Davis to Sears Point is about an hour and a half.

That's not so far. My "local" track is a good hour away; when there's no traffic.

I'm just saying... why go to Sears Point instead of Sac Raceway?
