Hello, I am new to this forum. My friend has a 2002 Volvo V70se which she has owned since new with 52,000 miles on it. She has meticulously maintained even when it has sat for a period of time. She mostly drives her truck and the volvo occasionally just to keep it lubed. The only thing is that she says once in a while it has a problem starting, and she thinks that she saw the interior door jamb lights blink like something electrical was going on. I would have somebody look at it, but in researching cars that have been garaged and not used much, specifically this model, that the plug that goes into the starter can get corrosion build up. This car is literally showroom mint, and I pulled a surprise visit on her just to start it up, and it fired right up. Do you recommend anything I check out specifically? I have owned a '78 4cyl, a '95 850, and a 2002 XC. I love Volvos but i know they are expensive if you do need a repair. She wants high blue book $5000 which includes a new set of studded tires.
