sick (adj.) Generic positive: great, awesome, wonderful, perfect, cool, attractive, nice. Kristy, your outfit tonight looks sick!
chick (noun) [often offensive to females] A female. We were checking out these hot chicks last night at Eddie's.*
pad (noun) Home; house; place of residence. You can come over to my pad tonight and hang out.
cool (adj.) Generic positive: great, awesome, wonderful, perfect, cool, attractive, nice. That club we went to last night was cool! The music was awesome!
hot (adj.) Attractive; good looking; sexy. That girl is so hot, I think I'll ask her out.
crib (noun) A house, home; a place of residence. Are we gonna meet up at my crib or what?
homey/homie (noun) A friend or buddy. Me and my homies are going out to a club tonight.
ghetto (adj.) Generic bad: dirty, cheap, of poor quality, bad, messy. My stereo is so ghetto that the radio skips when I go over a bump.
wack/whack/whacked (adjective) Generic negative: Bad, awful, terrible, no good, of poor quality, boring, stupid, unfair. Why go to that movie? It's wack. We're having a test tomorrow? That's whacked!
dude (noun) A person, usually male. A friend. Often used to replace a name. Dude, I have a midterm next Wednesday.
faded( adj.) Intoxicated, drunk. After that case of Coors, we were faded! ride (noun) A car; a vehicle. After I start making the big bucks, I'm gonna buy me a sweet ride.
phat (adjective) Generic positive: Great, awesome, wonderful, perfect, cool, attractive, nice. Todd has a phat ride now with his new dubs on it.
dope (adjective) Generic positive: Great, awesome, wonderful, perfect, cool, attractive, nice. You aced your test. That's dope!
trip (verb) To overreact. To become excessively worried or stressed. My parents are trippin' over that stain on the carpet from the spilled punch.
playa/player (noun) A person who dates many others at the same time usually without letting them know. Usually applied to males. Joe is such a player; I saw him with Tina today and Karla yesterday.
chill/chill out (verb) To relax; to calm down. Let's just chill with some brewskies tonight.

dawg/dog/dogg (noun) A friend (usally male). Often used to replace a name. These guys were my dawgs since grade school. Hey, how have you been, dog?
