...last one of the current chassis probably. Looks like a glorified RSX now... ugh...

Didn't notice the yellow interior... OMG... that's gonna make me puke during hot summer days. :) Great car yes... although getting old... i still remember Ayrton Senna driving this sucker... :D

After a couple more looks... those lights got jacked from the 3000GT!!! :Q

NSX is seriously underpowered. Unless they jacked up the HP for the price you pay you get pretty piss-poor getup and go!

i expected Acura to make more exterior changes considering the cool initial drawings I've seen of it.

<<edit: didn't know it was just a freshening, not complete redo>>

Why did they even bother with a redesign? The ALL NEW model will be out in '03. It's a waste of Honda's money to restyle it for '02 IMHO.

Man, that design is getting long in the tooth. :D At least they have finally gotten rid of the flip-up headlights.

Maybe one last attempt to sell the current model before the next gen comes in. Geez... they're only at their second gen after 11 years...long overdue.

Christ, you guys post to fast...

Like the new front end, but I think this is just a minor update. The car is going to be all new in 2003-04 I think.

yeah, 13.2s in the 1/4 mile from a 290hp 3.2L NA engine is pretty damn slow. don't forget, the NSX is not all about speed but feel. it's a pretty well designed MID-engine rwd.

You have to have an INSANELY good driver to extract those times. Most "typical" NSX drivers like the ones I've seen at the track hit a high 13.

They're just like an S2000, you have to rev the piss out of 'em to get them to move. One guy down here has the Comptec S/C on his and he only managed a 13.1 at the track.

Honda need to get rid of that transversely mounted engine, this is the only thing I have to say about the NSX.

Underpowered? The car weighs under 3000lbs, compare that to say, a 300 HP 300ZX that weighs 3500lbs, or a 320HP Supra that weights 3500...

Nice car, but $80k for a Japanese car is too much, should go with German or up some money and go Italian

The reason for this is because they can power the drive wheels directly without losing more HP by using drive shafts...probably why they had their first Formula One cars in the 60s configured the same way. Although they did go longtitudinal after that.

Well come to think of it... it seems underpowered for $80,000... it just has the power band too high up there to be useful enough outside the racetrack.
