Its a differet class of car.
Its way up there in the sports compact group of small cars.

Maxima is up there in the sport sedan cars.

No comparison between the two.

They are both good cars.

I had a choice i would go with the maxima.
I think mini is just too small for me...

It is what it is :D For me, I'd just have the back seats folded forward at all times and throw all my junk in the hatch if need be. Hell, the trunk in my car is always empty so cargo space isn't really THAT much of an issue for me anyway.

As for hauling people around? Hell no, we're taking their car:D

It's a cool looking car. An exec buddy of mine at work had one on order a few months back and just got it a few weeks ago. It's way too small for my giraffe legs....too bad. The interior and dash were way cool....kind of a retro/future fusion theme. I like it, but if you want one be sure to try it first as they're not a good fit for everyone.

One drawback is that its fugly.

You either get it or you don't - I think it is gorgeous.

Yeah- agreed. I think if North America will get off it's high horse of big trucks and craptastically built pony cars that they see as objects that make up for other things they don't have, the MINI will sell in spades (probably will anyway to people educated about these cars). I'd love to have one as a daily driver/runabout!! I'll take a MINI Cooper S in dark grey with the 17" alloys and sport package, please. :D

Can you get them with 17" wheels? Doesn't seem like they'd fit.

Wow....I'd like to see one with some 17's on it. Seems like the wheel well was cramped with 15"-ers on it.
