I had a 95 SE 5-speed and donated it when it had over 200K miles but was still running strong.
I now have an 02 SE 6-speed with everything but NAV.
Yes torque steer is evident and a good launch takes a lot of practise (don't even try it when roads are slick you'll just get massive wheel hop).
The Bose is still working but not worth the money.
The original Bridgestones are horrible tires.
Some 02-03 were know to burn oil but I have had no issues with it.
Warped rotors seem to be a Nissan issue and my Max is not an exception.
There are minor issues like rear window noise that were corrected by the dealer.
Mileage averages between 21-25 MPG.
These 02-03 4 door grocery getters (especially the 6-speeds) are bargain sleepers.
