2001fp w/ ati 9200??

I just bought an ATI Radeon 9200 off Newegg because I wanted a cheap video card that would run 1600x1200 using DVI with my Delll 2001fp. I've been running it at 1600x1200 on an old GF3 card through a VGA connection. After iinstalling the 9200 and drivers, I switched to 1600x1200 and the lcd went blank. Sorta like it went into sleep mode. I was able to play around with some of the dvi settings in the options menu and got it to work, but it didn't look good at all. Has anyone run into this problem, and if so how did you go about fixing it? Should I consider sending back the 9200 and getting something else? If so, what? I don't want to spend a whole lot of money because my system is old anyway and I primarily use it only for 2d applications.

Thanks,

thanks, i was able to do the "reduce the dvi frequency" for ati cards. Is this something that all ati cards have problems with or just the 9200?

Everything runs at 1600x1200, but now my display will go blank after a period of time. I had my computer up and running for 30-40 minutes and when I clicked a link on the web, the display cutout. I know everything was still running because I was able to restart normally and I could still hear music play through Winamp. Anyone have ideas on this?

Would I be better off shipping my card back and getting something a little bit newer?
