2001FP screen door effect only when in motion

Has anyone ever had this problem before?

When my display is in motion, such as a DVD, a game or just dragging a window around, I notice a diagonal screen door effect (basically criss cross lines). This is basically the square screen door effect except turned 45 degrees in any direction to create a more diamond shape screen door effect. This only happens when the display is in motion and is most visible over blue surfaces. I have to be within a foot to notice this, but it is quite annoying. When over a white surface, the effect may still be there but it is barely noticable. This effect is also more prominent after powering on (or off then on) the screen. It tends to be less noticable after a few minutes.

I just got this screen, its an A0 revision. Can anyone help explain this?

this is slightly different than what other people have said for a few reasons:
1. i only notice this when the screen is moving
2. its only really visible on blue backgrounds
3. more prominent when the screen is turned on
4. the lines are diagonal criss crossing
