Im curious how long does it take for this monitor to go into stand by? I jsut got mine and it seems like mine might not. jsut sits there and does a self test. does it do this for awhile then go to stand by? normally I just push the power button but if I dont have to why should I?
 
You have to set the monitor up to go into stand by mode in display proporties. Mine goes right in and right now. Obviously not instantly but in a few seconds.
