What to get what to get?!?!? AGH its so tuff. But im getting it for 564 + tax so its a good sale. with the dell coupon things. I will mainly be using this for games (CS:S, HL2, WoW). And also watching movies. I know both are great monitors. But does anyone have the 2005FPW and post some pics of it? THanks

2001fp you cant beat hl2 @ 1600 x 1200 and buy a widescreen tv to watch your dvds.

what about students like me who dont have extra money or SPACE for a widescreen tv?

its much easier to compact a tv and computer screen into a thin lcd monitor

yea i think im going to opt for the 2005 FPW, as i do not have a TV in my room, and need one, and has 12MS response, more contrast (600:1) and brighter.

the only thing is, the highest quality "non-computer input" it has is s-video

no component

so you would have to run the dvd from your comp for good quality

but then the noise from your comp would ruin the movie

You physically get more screen space with the 2001FP, plus you get the 1600*1200 res. So, you know what my advice is. :D

hahah, MAYBE . . . i just know that if the technology is there, all i gotta wait for is for them to mass-market it . . .

24" is probably the biggest i could, space-and-money-wise

hmm, dang your right svideo is the only thing, and i heard that looks like crap on pc lcds. I think i may get the 19' viewsonic with high def support. Now that would be sexy :)
