2001FP as HDTV monitor?

I have a comcast motorola HDTV box, with composite out and DVI out... When I plug in the DVI to the Dell 2001FP monitor, it comes on for a few seconds then goes blank...

Any ideas as to why this is? I am trying to use this as a temporary setup, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Its a DCT6200, and I've tried all the display modes. Its weird because it shows perfectly then goes blank.

"DVI output on the 6200 is HDCP compliant (this is copy protection for DVI outputs). The DVI input on your TV must be HDCP compliant for you to get any signal."
