2001 F150 hums while in idle only

I have the 4.6L engine with roughly 85k miles on it. The truck runs great. No spudder nothing while driving. While it is idle there is a hum from the engine. IIRC this started to happen after the last time i had the belt changed. Does this make sense? Could the belt be too tight or the wrong one?

This only happens while idle and when i apply gas its gone. It will happen if im going above 0 but again only while there is no gas applied.

New belts tend to hum or whine a little until they wear in. As long as it's not a grinding or squealing noise you should be fine.
