depends on what you are planning to do with the monitor. text and graphics should look pretty clear, but games im definitely sure the it will have some ghosting.

You cannot really ask that question and get a response you can count on unless you know someone and how they judge ghosting.

Everyone's eyes are different.

Many people say they don't notice any ghosting on the 2000FP, some people say they do.

I recommend ordering it and testing it out for yourself, thats the only way to be sure and Dell lets you send it back within 30 days anyway.

I have 3 type of dell monitor, 1800 FP, 1900 FP and 2000 FP and not one but multiple units..

1900fp suffers the MOST ghosting in counter strike and the dark is really dark.. 1800 & 2000 fp are better but still it suffers a little. I rather use my sony g500 crt monitor but the 2000 comes pretty close. Those two doesn't give me headaches

People's perception of ghosting is very subjective. I would imagine, if someone had a fast machine, playing Quake3 at over 125FPS, they would see some bad ghosting.

Thanx, guys, but you know I have a planar 1904 LCD monitor. Before I purchased it, I did some research on it. And it said that it has a 25ms responding time. For me, there is a little ghosting in Game, however, when I watch movie, there is very serious ghosting when view is moving fast. Even on my desktop, when I drag and move a window, all the contents in the window were blurry.
I can not stand it anymore

Do you have transition effects turned off in your Display Properties/Effects? I've never used an LCD much but I always turn off that first thing when I install Windows. It really annoys me. Turning it off might help when you drag windows.

ok, I have a 1900fp and there is little to no ghosting in counter-strike. the reason? I set the resolution to 1024 x 768 . if you use 1280x960 the colors get all out of whack and dark and ghosting gets REALLY nasty. 1024x768 pretty much fixes thing in most games. 1280x1024 also cleans up ghosting and color problems. Try it, you'll see. BTW I use the DVI connection if that also makes a difference
