2000 Watt Speakers For 50 Bucks?

hahaha yea i was a little skeptical, I was like it says 2000 watts for P.M.P.O, there is no way they could only be 50 bucks hahaha thanks

yeah....never go by PMPO...always go with the RMS ratings when you are looking at power

also note that power doesn't necessarily relate to how good speakers sound

They might be ok for $50, but for that price you're better off getting a cheap 4.1 Altec Lansing or other more reputable set.

Watts only have to do with how much amplifier power your speaker theoretically can handle...it is used for marketing purposes. Only. Sound quality has absolutely nothing to do with "watts".

I've NEVER been able to blow a "low-watt" speaker with a good amplifier (even "higher-powered" than the speaker), but with a low-power amplifier it is relatively easy to destroy even a high-quality loudspeaker.
