2000+ trouble with A7V8x

Hi guys.

Whenever I try to run my 2000+ at default 1.667GHz, the system will be on but no picture (Monitor will still be in Standby) and I will have to go into the BIOS right after restart and change to 1.2Ghz. (BIOS say something about CPU setting isn't correct or soemthing like that) Then it will be fine. I have the voltage of CPU and RAM at Auto Voltage.

Sys info.:

A7v8X BIOS 1005.006
512MB CORSAIR XMS @133 cas2
Radeon 9700 Pro
Athlon 2000+XP
Antec 300W PS

Settings at default.

Not familiar with the 2000+
but try running the cpu at .25% over and/or under voltage if allowed in BIOS.

Try manually defining the voltages and the multiplier ratio in the bios rather than using auto. I have heard of people having this problem and working around it by manually defing the settings rather than using auto.
