2000 server login box

Hello guys/gals-

Ive got a win 2000 server box w/AD installed at home and everything works great (thanks to your tips and ALOT of reading!) but i have one 'option' I cannot find.
in the control-alt-delete box, the domain field does not show up, I have to click on the [Options] box for it to show up.
Id like to have the domain field show up by default and havent been able to find this option on the policies, any ideas?

Thanks!

I did a little digging in technet and I'm fairly certain there is no registry key or any trick to fix that.

You can always login as user@domain if you have your active directory running well.

I think domain\user works as well.

Otherwise you'll just have to hit that options button, set your domain and just use "user" in the login box.

I get the domain on my 2000 AS box running AD. No clicking the option box...correction, I had to to do it after I dcpromo'ed but then it stuck.

Just noticed that the box in question is a Domain Controller (AD installed).
You cannot log in locally on a DC, so at least you know you're logging onto the domain.
Nevertheless you should see the domain in the box.....strange it isnt sticking.
