2000 Honda Accord EX V6 SRS light

I have that car and occassionally the side airbag light goes on for no reason, since the first day. usually goes off within an hour or so.

Yeah, my side airbag light would rarely come on also..

ugh.. i guess i'm gonna try the thing i posted.. except i have no idea how to access the wires under the dash.. ( i am a car newb)

the first time it came on was after the emission test, the guy rev it to like 6000 rpm for 3 minutes... and it went away after a while but never came back.. but if you stay below the wheel, it wont hit ur face..

The airbag is not going to get triggered without the sensors getting tripped, which won't happen unless something runs into the car while you're working on the airbag. The chances of an accidental airbag deployment are really, really, really small.

That fix is only to reset the SRS light if there isn't a hard fault present or if the system was accidentally tripped. If your system has a fault, resetting the light will only work temporarily or not at all.
