I am not. It seems to me that it is going to go pretty much the same way that it went last year. Please correct me if I am wrong.

NBA is suck without Jordan. I'll stick to watching college B-Ball...it's much better anyway

I'm excited. Can't wait for a Lakers vs. Kings game since I'd be able to go to Kings games.. :)

NBA is much better than college ball. With Jordan or without Jordan, I'll still watch it. There are plenty of exciting players to watch and follow.

Ewing is too old and slow. I think the Knicks weren't able to run as much because Ewing has to run the length of the court back and forth.

I think the Blazers is the only team that can stand up to the Lakers this year. First win over the Blazers doesn't mean too much but it's a great start. Go Lakers!

Funny thing is, LA times gave the Lakers #3, Portland #2, and Spurs #1.

Some other newspaper predict 76ers vs. Spurs in Finals.

I can't believe it the Grizzlies win thier home opener against the Sonics :Q :D :Q :D First time since they started in the NBA.

Hopefully they can have a good season with new ownership & a more beefed up bench.

Cheers,

I think the Grizzlies have the best young talent in the league. If they can get a better big man, and Swift delivers, look out! :Q

Apperently last season they were #4 in scoring from the Starters but the bench was #22. I like Swift :D Hopefully he'll develop fast. At least he wants to be here (or at least not be vocal about it like cry baby Francis). Actually, I think I have to thank Francis for wanting out  Otherwise we wouldn't have gotten Dickerson & Harrington (another whiner but at least he can play).

Cheers,

Why 76ers? They're still the same old team and same with the Spurs. After dominating the year the Spurs won, Duncan has cooled down a bit. I doubt it'll be 76ers and Spurs for the championship.

Last year Duncan got injured late in the season, thus they were eliminated in the 1st round by the Suns. Now they have a healthy Duncan, healthy Elliot, older Robinson, and a new slasher, faster shooting guard, Derek Anderson.

Look what the 76ers did to the Ewing-less Knicks. At one point, the fans were chanting "Patrick Ewing". :)

So basically, Lakers, Blazers, Spurs in the west, and Magic, 76ers in the east.
