My parents have a 2000/2001 Camry CE with the stock stereo: 6 3/4" up front and 6x9 in the back with a am/fm/cd/cassette head unit. For Mother's Day I plan on changing at least the fronts since there is absolutely no high-end out of the stock speakers. I'm tryin to figure out how much power the stock head-unit puts out so I have some idea what I'm workin with. Any ideas? Maybe 15 RMS?

I'm prolly just gonna leave the rears since they're only for fill anyway. No real need to do anything with those.

I'm prolly gonna go with Polk's. I did a stereo yesterday for a friend and was thoroughly impressed with how it sounds.

It will have a basic minimum of 8W RMS (Seen some cars with that). However since your unsure just go for the heighest you can get.
I think the now standard is between 30 - 45RMS (max values). Having a little more power than what the amp has wont affect anything. Infact it will sound real good.
