With all-new parts, probably not (unless you get some crazy bundle deal from Dell with multiple stacked coupons/discounts or something).

With used parts, if you don't care about not having much performance, then maybe. I'm assuming you're not including a monitor in the $200 price...

Also, sometimes people sell old laptops (like P1/P2 era) for next to nothing. They're not very fast, the screens suck, battery life is usually awful, and replacement parts can be difficult if not impossible to find, but they are cheap.

You could probably find some old PC's on e-bay for about that, so yes, it's technically possible. If you want any sort of modern parts however, then probably not.

Sure, it's possible. My 'friend' Guido says they fall off the backs of trucks all the time! He only deals in cash though.

Isn't there an AOL comptuer that includes everything even a printer for $199

I think the specs are good too:
512MB RAM
80GB HDD
Celeron 2.66GHZ CPU (I hate Celeron's)
17'' Monitor
Mouse
Keyboard
Windows XP

Yea I saw it at CompUSA in the ads. I was thinking about getting it for a dedicated server for CS:CZ.

If you can deal with older kit and a free OS, easy. With new kit and Windows, pretty much not happening.

Outpost had a deal a few weeks ago for a PC for like $150 + ship.

I would keep my eyes out. You could DEFINITELY find one... it may only have 128mb ram, but you could always upgrade that with someone's used, cheap 256mb stick.

that should be right at 200$ as far as a mouse/kb/monitor i'd suggest looking around at goodwill or your local salvation army, they usually have mouses for like 2$, keyboards for 5$ and monitors for 10$

There is no point in trying to build an inferior system for that price. Unless all components are used in this matter. You can try, but for what? You would be better off @ your favorite auction site and picking up one of these. I've used these before and build systems daily. This is about as good as it can get. We can throw the Frye's/Walmart GQ Sempron systems into play with linux for $199. But, they're all the same performance wise.

Atleast with the auction link I submitted, you're receiving a Windows Operating system with it.
