Not to isolate woman out of this because I have met many that are quite skilled in home improving, but I just love being a man here. I repainted my room, installed a new door jam, and rewired some of my outlets in my room with new/improved (in some cases) ones. :)

Awesome job - it went from looking like an ugly problem area to being very attractive and solid looking. Getting ready to head to the Depot myself...

I used approximately 17 cartons of the flooring for the living room and dining room. Very easy to install as it all just interlocks. The most difficult part is getting the measurments and cuts right when you come to the walls/door openings.

I redid the living room and dining room during Superbowl weekend.

Dining Room

Both rooms used to have carpet. Living Room Before

As you can see in the picture of the Dining Room, I also have repainted in the kitchen. Original Kitchen

Ok, have to take issue with the living room redo. You have awesome wood frames on the windows, and you cover one up with that curtain/sheer/whatever-you-call-it? That seems like a shame! :)

I like the rest of it, but you need to keep the wood showing. That stuff is too rare these days with the cookie cutter McMansions everywhere.

I had thought about removing the curtain but it was a gift from my mom and she hung it there so I've kind of left it alone. :p
