The disappointment here is that after 20 years of searching, we're still not yet find the little green man.
Or probably they just afraid of our ability cramming so much CPU cores into one socket. It might be a good thing though.......IMO we are an embarrassing species.......
Nah don't worry, we've barely scratched the surface, the galaxy is a massive place (150,000+ LYs across), not to mention we have to be looking at the right place, right time & right frequency (assuming 'they' use radio). Only after we have scanned in all directions on all useable frequencies constantly for decades can we safely rule out ET on radio.Whoa, some real oldies here. Congrats @Wiz and @Orange Kid for the achievement.

Originally I thought we'd find them in ~10yrs, lol.
I'm a little out of touch on the latest SETI gear, but IIRC wide band & wide space searches have only really been occurring over the past 10yrs or so. (Can some clarify that btw?).
Oh btw, my 20yr anniversary is in October, so not long now!
I can't believe we are still crunching & still (mostly) together after 20yrs! 😎
Happy SETI anniversary to Wiz & Orange kid! 😀
