I wouldn't need much, because I wouldn't be there long. The thought of being locked in the same room with any woman for 20 straight years would force me to seriously consider suicide.

Good call on Saving Private Ryan. I will definetely need a good war movie. Im thinking maybe Tae Guk Gi, that way I can watch a good war movie AND learn some korean!
Tae Guk Gi is a kickass movie. I am not afraid to admit that I teared up a bit...
Edit; Id be interested in seeing if anyone (who was not married or in a long term relationship atm) would consider a guy instead of a girl, simply for the fact that the woman would drive you insane after 1 month, let alone 20 years.

Food:
xiao long bao
Excellent choice.
What is it?
It's a chinese food, pretty common among Chinese people and you'll find it all over the place in China, primarily in Beijing. It's like...steamed bun with meat/veggie filling, sounds weird but once you try it you'll love it. They should also have it at your local Chinese grocery store if you want to try some. But nothing comes close to the real deal you get from street vendors in Beijing.

Indeed, VERY good movie. I think its the best war movie ever made... You have to watch it in Korean though, dubbing the movie freaking ruins it.
