That's what I think...Same reason I'm using Firefox right now ;)

Anyhow, as for one quick change to the list, I'd gladly exchange American Psycho to take out Fight Club

[edit] BTW, what was different about Burton's Planet of the Apes when compared to the one w/Charlton Heston?

I think the list should be renamed to "The best movie endings of all time."

So these movies don't have the typical ending... so what? That's what made them good movies!

FIGHT CLUB?!?!?

I agree with Basic though - what a clusterfuck of an ending.

LoL at quotes at the bottom of other movies that should've been added:
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
Ewok dance party. Need I say more?

When he fell through the glass ceiling...

I think Wild Things could be on that list.

wild things was an excuse for putting soft core porn in the theaters. horrible movie.

Twist-wise, the one that messed me up the most was Boondock Saints.

*Kind of a spoiler, but not really*

Even if you saw it coming, don't tell me the shot of Verbal walking in the end doesn't kick ass.

Fight Club? WTF?!?!?! As others have already pointed out.
Man on Fire, although I agree it was not the ending that I would have liked to have seen, it was an ending which fit the movie.

KeyserSoze

I agree with you 100% on these 3 movies.

I completely agree. If you've read up on why the ending is so retarded, then the reason why the ending is so retarded actually makes sense.

BASICally, Travolta screwed over everyone...

To be on this list, a movie should be at least moderately entertaining right up until the point at which the "twist" occurs and you are suddenly left wondering wtf just happened and why did I waste money on this movie!?

Planet of The Apes qualifies.

The Village doesn't - really bad twist, but you should have left the theater prior to the twist in disgust anyway...

Basic qualifies

The Usual Suspects - maintain an ounce of suspension of disbelief and this is a great twist...

meh - as usual the Slate hires a pretentious writer to blather on about something he knows nothing about...
