The VX2025WM will be superior to both for colors and sustainable contrast (viewing angles too). Response time is second to none. It's also available at a great price.

The Dell 2007WFP is decent. They have eliminated the banding issues in the later revisions, but the response time is still not great and the contrast is lower than that of the ViewSonic. Viewing angle of the Dell is a little wider. It does have its advantages as tjpark1111 outlined.

i dun know if im allowed to post this link from this *other* forum since I got edited last time, but here goes. I apologize if I am breaking the rules.
BTW, can any 2007FPW owners help out here? What options does the scaler have? Can it fill the entire screen with a DVD without black bars? Or is there pan&scan? I wish I could go try out this monitor at a dell store but the store is miniscule and hasn't even opened yet.
