20" tv opinions

Looking for a 20" for a bedroom... in the $100 range... give or take... Circuit City has those for a choice... what's your opinion of the best we can get... (anywhere) ?

I got an Apex 20" flat for $150 at CC. I like it a lot, cuts off the edges (noticeable in videogames) but nto that big of a deal. Cheap remote but hey it's flatscreen at least 🙂

DON'T I repeat DON'T under any circumstances buy the apex 20" TV at circuit city (the 89.99 one, non-flat). My roommate went out and got one while I was looking online and he bought it before I could warn him not to. The picture quality is acceptable, but the sound quality is HORRENDOUS. So bad that I'll be buying a higher quality one very very soon (looking at the samsung 20" flat, ~$230). I even tried hooking up some PC speakers to the port and it was even WORSE because the higher quality computer speakers emphasized the feedback even more.

The only thing this sub-budget TV is good for is watching media from your computer on a TV (with analog tv-out mind you, since there is no S-video port) and using the PC sound card and speakers for sound.

If you need a good budget TV, I'd go for a 20" panasonic, it was ~$150 and looked decent.

That is nice or you could go with a 20" Sanyo Flat Screen at walmart. They go for about $150 IIRC and its a nice little tv with front components and svideo for you dvd player.
