I was in my local McDonalds today and they had a flyer sitting at the register saying "A Break for Tax Day, $2.99 20pcs Chicken Nuggets" or something to that degree...

Not the healthiest thing, but... *shrug* It's 40% off. :)

I have no idea if this is everywhere, or if it's just at that one McDonalds though...

(FYI: This was the McDonalds on Stadium Blvd in Ann Arbor, MI)

Used to love these as a kid.

Do they still take the chicken fat and inject it back into the chicken?

Mmmmm...Massive coronary....

Actually, this should soften your stool which should make the visit from the tax man less painful.

Take a look here first then you'll never eat at mcdonalds again.

A Chicken McNugget is comprised of, in addition to chicken:

water, salt, modified corn starch, sodium phosphates, chicken broth powder (chicken broth, salt and natural flavoring (chicken source)), seasoning (vegetable oil, extracts of rosemary, mono, di- and triglycerides, lecithin). Battered and breaded with water, enriched bleached wheat flour (niacin, iron, thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, bleached wheat flour, modified corn starch, salt, leavening (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, dried whey, corn starch. Batter set in vegetable shortening. Cooked in partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, (may contain partially hydrogenated soybean oil and/or partially hydrogenated corn oil and/or partially hydrogenated canola oil and/or cottonseed oil and/or corn oil). TBHQ and citric acid added to help preserve freshness. Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an anti-foaming agent.

That's actually encouraging, it suggests they might be using real chickens!

anyways anyone try the "new" Mcnuggets yet? Hot or Not?

Personally I stay away from eating anything who's name starts with "Mc"

I've tried the new nuggets.. they seem more like real chicken than the old ones... probably something like Wendy's nuggets but not quite... still needs improvement.
