OK, the infamous 20% off any order over $100 up to $1000 is back, this time at Geomarket. Standard ECS deal terms, but they added one stipulation, and that is that the deal isn't valid at Computers4Sure. If you want computer stuff, they do have J&R and there is also electronics at 800.com, so there are probably some pretty good deals there.

Also, if you're interested in a TiVo, I did that giveaway deal where you write a 250 word essay, and I think they're giving them away to just about anyone. Anyway, the TiVo came only a few days later and it's actually pretty sweet! I have to say that I am way more impressed with this thing than I ever thought I would be, particularly since I spend way too much time on these boards and hardly any time watching TV.

Hey Nitz.
I bought a 60gig hard drive from Computers4sure last time this came around. (8/25) and I should have about $80 or so coming to me.
Is there any place I can email or call to check on the status of the rebate?
I know it said 6-8 weeks. How long does it usually take?

I was about to purchase a Sony 300 disk jukebox (the cool one with the ps/2 and optical outs) but I noticed the fine print about only accepting 200 rebates. Is there any way to confirm the rebate will be accepted?

(And I posted a message in IWANNA about discounts on bigger ticket -- like Vega TV's -- items. I just wanted to say thank you for this find).

roth - Why not contact Geomarket customer service? You can even call them 24/7 at 1-888-206-0082

frickinvega - Despite the "200 limit" disclaimer it has been my experience that when they reach the fulfillment of a promo or it expires that they remove the banner from the web site. I would wait for Nitz to confirm this since he's the ECS expert but if it's on their web site then it's available.

Thanks Nitz,

Any word on whether c4sure is gone for good from ECS promotions? Or whether it's because of c4sure (lower referral fees, or whatever) or because of ECS (too much fraud by c4sure buyers, too many returns, etc.?)

I've been looking for a 19-20" TV for some time now. 800.com has a Konka 20" TV with MTS Stereo on sale for $180. Shipping is $20 but you can knock it out with the $20 off $100 found on their homepage. After the 20% rebate it comes to $144 shipped. It only got a mediocre rating from eTown, but good features for the price. J&R has a Samsung 19" for $149.99, looks pretty good, but shipping is also around $20. Price after rebate is around $140. BestBuy.com has a Samsung 19" for $140, saw it on display today and liked it, they're also having free shipping in case you don't want to pick it up.

This is a great deal for those looking to get a Sony 32" Wega at 800.com :

$999.95 Full Retail Price
- 50.00 5% instant off coupon using your Citibank CC(from fatwallet.com)
-------
949.95
-189.99 20% rebate from GeoMarket.Com
-------
759.96
+ 39.95 Red Carpet Delivery (Shipping)
-------
$799.91 Total Cost Delivered

Not bad for one of the best 32 inchers out there. :)

The TV has been removed from 800.com (KV32FS12). But there is another higher end model for $1099.99 or there-abouts. Anyone know why it magically disappeared after I put my order in?

that's odd... I was looking at something at J&R and within 5-10 minutes the price jumped from $1,999 to $2,999... I smell something fishy

Hi guys,

I used this deal to get a new Casio EM-500 for 410 shipped :)

This is a GREAT deal and if anyone wants a PDA, this is a good time and a rare opportunity.

I even went to chat with the reps at GeoMarket, and it loaded Java. Suddenly I asked him if this was for real, and if it's still going on and he confirmed that it was. Very impressive by this company I must say. And this was on midday Sat as well. I'm optimistic with this company/deal.

I'm curious what you guys will score with this. Of course the more you spend, the more you save.

LMK everyone.

Thanks for the NICE heads up Nitz :)

Cheers

TC61, the 20 per cent you get back from GeoMarket. You'll still pay JandR full price for the item, but in 6-8 weeks, you should get 20 per cent back :)

Just make sure you go through Geomarket and then after you've made your purchase at JandR, and of course copied/printed the sale details, fill in the form at GeoMarket with your claim, including the order # etc.

Good luck and LMK how that works out for you.

Cheers

Anybody know a way to use both geomarket and ebates? I would love to get an extra 5% off on my order (to bring it below $500 a little more reasonable price). As far as I know it seems like using both would be impossible, but I was wondering it anyone knew a way.

Sorry for the lack of responses, I was in Vegas for the weekend, baby! Woo Hoo!

OK, so don't sweat the limits, ECS just added a bunch more 20% off rebate sites, so we're all set. For future reference, they take the rebate page down when the limit has been reached, so you don't have to worry about it.

Also, you CANNOT use ebates and the ECS rebates in the same order. Many people have tried to figure this out including myself, and it just doesn't work.

Oh yeah, Computers4Sure IS included in those upcoming sites, so Woo Hoo to that - I'm gonna post another thread about it.

Finally, they have the lowest price on those razor scooters through BFL, Here's the link I was recently at the bike industry trade show, and there were probably 50 booths with these things at them - I bet they're down to $10 after X-mas because there will be such an inventory glut. Every Taiwanese manufacturer in the world had a knockoff, it was just silly to see.
