So if I do the math... $699 - 20% = $559 - $60 = $499

Might want to put that in your title.

THanks...

If the math is right (and it looks like it is), $499 is not even warm since the 2005FP has been as low as $359

Yea its been that low, but that was at the end of dells fiscal year, so dont expect them to go that low for a long while. I do however wish I would have bought two when they where that cheap!

I remember that $359, that was so freakin' mind blowingly hot.

Good point, I had been waiting since last spring to get another 2005fpw. Finally in August I got in on the 40% of and it ended up costing me less than $400 ($381). If you wait till the end of the next quarter you should be able to save a few more bucks.

Figures Dell would cut back on its monitor coupons now that I need to buy a monitor. I'm sorry, guys. It's my fault. :(

w00t!! I knew that last time, even tho I had no plans on buying a LCD, much less a badass 20" widescreen, but at $359 + tax, I ordered up 24 hrs later on July 28th. Fvcking awesome monitor... there was such a huge amount of talk on it I had to jump on the bandwagon. Now everyone still wants one (or another for dual!) but the coupons aren't there like they used to be. But within a month I think they will start some new good ones. If you have a capable monitor just live with it for another month or two and get it for $125 less.

Yarr...

according to someone or other though, dell's fiscal year ends in october, so we should be getting some good deals soon.

That being said, for now I remain a pirate. Yarrr...
