$20 off your first purchase (of $200 or more).

Coupon code: pvvrx-tpb8u-qju0f

Enter the code on the payment page on the "Other Payment Options" in the Crutchfield Referral Credit area then go to ""Ordering from Crutchfield for the first time and sent here by a friend? Enter your friends Crutchfield Referral Code.". The discount may not appear until you receive your e-mailed invoice. If there is any trouble you can call CS at 1-888-292-2504 and they'll fix you up.

While Crutchfield.com is typically known for their car stereo equipment, I recently purchased one of the best 5.1 surround sound systems: the Energy RC Micro 5.1, from them $100 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else. Total price with the coupon was $379.

Enjoy!

Definitely. The Energy speakers are the best small-package sub-$1,000 speakers on the market today. Read some reviews, and you will notice that these speakers typically get the highest ratings from reviewers. In addition, these speakers have fallen in price drastically from when they first came on the market. They used to retail for around $1,000, while the Polk's used to retail around $400.

Your receiver is powerful enough for the Energy speakers. Just make sure that you get some good quality wiring. I purchased my subwoofer cable from Amazon.com (Belkin AV), and then picked up some 12-gauge speaker wire from bluejeanscable.com. Go with their cheapest cabling, it is more than sufficient and well worth the price. The white cabling is a nice option. I decided to go for it because I ran the cable alongside the wall, and this allows it to blend in. I didn't have the patience to poke holes in the wall and mess around with fishing wire. Having used them before I can confirm that they sell quality stuff.

EDIT: I believe that the Energy speakers are more compact than the Polks you ordered. My older system was a Panasonic HTIB, and the Energys are definitely smaller.
