So there is a new deal for $10 off $39.95 at CDNow through BFL, and if you combine that with the $10 off $50 that BFL is already offering, you can get $20 off $60 (the $10 off from CDNow has to be taken first in order to qualify for the $10 off $50). Still not a very bad deal.

Oh yeah, if you sign up for this new valupoints thing they have at BFL, then you basically get $5 worth of these points just for signing up, and they have bonuses a lot so it's not very hard to get up to the $10 minimum redemption threshold.

Congrats Chris. I think you qualify for whatever the current grand-poobah status is around here for keeping us up on ECS happenings so faithfully. :)

Interesting that these deals are cumulative...first time I can recall that being true for 2 cash-off deals together. Also interesting that the other BFL deal needs to be deducted from the total.

And of course, with $75 or more, shipping is free too...But is the $75 also AFTER the special ECS rebate? So effectively $85 in stuff to get Free shipping?

Now if we could only get some more 20% deals at c4sure, LOL. :)

Thanks Dave,

Yeah, like most of the other rebates, you have to take the $10 off that the merchant (CDNow) gives before you qualify for any ECS rebates. So, if you bought $85 from CDNow, took their $10 off, then you'd still qualify for BOTH the $10 off $50 and the free shipping deal.

Yeah, 20% C4S would be sweet, I just think that one ended up being too expensive to run - too many Wega TVs, TiVos, and other expensive stuff with low margins. Oh well.

Oh, I see--my confusion...this 10.40 was a COUPON--I thought it was a seperate BFL REBATE...my mistake. Thanks Chris!

In that case, this is nothing new or unusual. Sorry for complicating it!
