This is becoming more annoying.
Roughly 20% of the time Windows 7 (64) does not load or see the display driver upon booting.
A restart has always fixed the problem.
I have at least once done a complete sweep and reinstall the driver to no prevail.
I'm using the current WHQL 280.26
Any idea why it is happening?
Coud it be driver issue?
I never had this issue until start using 280.26.

Spec: i5-2500k, GTX460 SLI, GB-Z68XP-UD3, 8GB Patriot Extreme Viper, Corsair 750w.

im going to add my voice to this display driver problem that Nvidia has in Win7. I have lost count of how many times my 460 has stopped responding because of the display driver and then popped back into action 2 or 3 seconds later.

Its really annoying. Fix it.

I read the next NV drivers are supposed to finally resolve this issue. Can't remember where though sorry.

could it be that your GPU isn't seated properly?

// looked at my Dell M1330 laptop with a failing nVidia 8400M GS. graphics drivers sometimes don't load up, but a reboot does the trick. luckily i still have warranty 😀

As I said early this did not happen with earlier driver/
So I hope it is the current driver issue but I'm not too sure.
