0.31mm dot pitch. YIKES. No thank you.

For that price you can pick up a 19" Iiyama NEW via their direct store w/ 3yr warranty .25mm dpi

Agreed, 0.31 might seem a bit "icky" for today's technology, even if it is a 20" monitor. Is it a good trade-off to give up that much quality for size? Something to think about before you purchase.

Does the fact that it's an aperture grill pitch make a diff? I though trinitron tubes had better pitches than this.

It seems like every 20" I come across is either old or has low specs or both.

Thanks for the post but .31 is definitely noticeable even though you have more real estate. I have a 21" .28 Philips that I am not using because I found a good deal on a 19" Philips @ .26 and I definitely notice the difference and find the 19" more to my liking. I actually don't miss the extra screen area.

So IMHO, run for the hills on this one. Spend the money on a good 19" !

Thanks for the post anyway! We not only find good deals here but learn about the pros and cons of items and I find that any discussion like this is still beneficial. It's kind of like the "Antique Road Show" where some guy proudly brings his "Civil war era" revolver (if there is such a thing) that he got at a flea market for $250 thinking its worth thousands only to discover its not a good deal because it's a fake that's only worth about a $100. They show those so that others can learn how to find the real thing.

Thanks and have a good one!

Thanks for the post. I'm waiting on a decent 19" monitor to show up on this board. I wish Sony would throw us a bone with a rebate on the G-400.

PC Liquidators has a refurb 17" Dell Trinition for $139.95 + shipping - they say they've only been previously leased. Shipping weight is calculated at 62 lbs., which is ridiculous

rebuilder,

love that show! i especially love to see how every native american artifact that comes through the door used to belong to sitting bull. or everything old from france belonged to napoleon.
