20 megapixels for $22K ?!?

CF cards and microdrives? How large do microdrives get?

EDIT: Actually, that's not so bad. 41 megs for a RAW image. So lets say microdrives come in 2 gig sizes... that's almost 50 images per drive, and of course you could delete the images that are no good as you go.
 
yikes, i would buy a disposable and a good quality scanner, then spend the remainder on a new car or a very long, ever lasting party 😕

Roughly, how many megapixels do you need to produce an image of equal quality to a decent analogue image?

I am sure the price will come down in five years or so.

I remember reading a thread not long ago about what a normal camera lens quality is compared to a digi cam.
