20 inch lcd vs 19 inch lcd

I am looking to upgrade to an LCD monitor. Newegg has a BenQ 19inch for $365 AMIR. When I compare it to a 20 inch the price is almost $200 more. Why is this? Aside from an inch are there any differences between the two sizes? Is it manufactured diffrently? Is the quality different?

19" lcds have a resolution of 1280x1024. 20" lcds have a resolution of 1600x1200.

Ahhh, OK. But if right now I use my 21 inch crt at 1024x768 all the time, I still have room to grow right?

You could go 2048*1536 with that.
