20 in LCD Monitor question

Guys and Gals,

I need your help here...

I bought a viewsonic VX2025 widescreen LCD in December...and i have never opened it (moving to a new house and things are not set up yet) and i have the opportunity to return the VX2025 back to the store and pay $90.00 to "upgrade" to the Samsung 206BW (http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.ph...wProduct&cmd=pd&pid=012402&cid=MT.258)

Is it a good deal or should i stick with the Viewsonic...

I do not game, the computer is primarily for office 2007 and web browsing (buring DVD's , but that is between us). I want a display that has excellent clearity and text

Go for the Samsung 226Bw. That monitor will knock your socks off. Is it available in the deal?

Your viewsonic is a higher quality monitor, but not as bright, not as much contrast and not as fast

It however, will display full 8bit color as opposed to the other monitor.

Both are 6 bit. Not worth trading in IMO.

Viewsonic is not 6bit, VX2025 is an 8 bit panel
